Brock's Biography

Brock Jolliffe - Special Effects Coordinator

Brock Jolliffe started in the film industry in the seventies by providing gun handling services and military vehicle rentals to film and television productions shooting in Toronto. Firing weapons segued into providing the effects of gun fire and explosions, eventually transitioning into a main focus being placed on special effects by the mid nineties. While Brock enjoyed gun handling, he also disccovered that the process of creating and executing special effects was far more rewarding. With blowing things up and burning things down in his blood, Brock passed the love of effects onto his son Lee in 1991, and they haven't stopped since.

Lee Jolliffe - Special Effects Technician

Growing up in his fathers shadow, it was only natural for Lee to find his place within the special effects industry. As a part-time firefighter, pyrotechnician, and weapons enthusiast, Lee brings safety, experience and professionalism to both the set and the effects shop. Lee has multiple certifications and licenses which include EMR, CPR, pleasure craft, and aerial training.
